Old Traditions, New Addition: GUMBO!
Join us for our annual Wildwood Cook-Off, happening right after Palm Sunday services! This beloved tradition is back with your favorites, chili and cookies - plus an exciting new category this year: gumbo!
Come taste, vote, and celebrate the delicious talents of our church family in a fun, festive afternoon together. We’ll gather outside the West Wing (weather permitting). If needed, we’ll move indoors to the Student Center and adjacent hall.
Proceeds from tasting tickets and extra vote sales support ministries at Wildwood UMC.

We’re calling all home cooks, Sunday School groups, families, and ministries to show off your skills and join the competition!
You can enter as a chili or gumbo cook, and/or a cookie baker.

Bring your appetite and your judging hat!
Your ticket includes one chili vote, one gumbo vote, and one cookie vote—but if you're feeling generous (or hungry), you can buy extra votes during the event to support your favorite cooks and ministries!
Suggested Donation
Extra votes will be sold during the cook-off—every dollar = one vote!
