Welcome to Wildwood Pre-Teen Ministry
We are committed to providing a Christ-centered, discussion based, safe, and engaging space for pre-teens at Wildwood UMC. As we recognize the importance of faith, Christ, and the church, we look to provide for our pre-teens spiritual needs hopeful that they find coming to church an enjoyable and fulfilling experience.

Confirmation 2026-2027
Our Confirmation Classes will be held on Sunday evenings from 5-6:30 pm, and will cover a range of topics; including United Methodist beliefs and practices, the Sacraments, the Scripture, and Christian discipleship. You will have the opportunity to learn from experienced teachers, engage in meaningful discussions with your peers, and participate in hands-on activities that will help you apply what you have learned.
We understand that Confirmation is a significant commitment, and we want to support you every step of the way. We encourage you to bring your questions, doubts, and concerns to our classes. We will do our best to help you find answers and guidance, as Confirmation is not the end of our faith journey. In addition to our classes, we will also be offering opportunities for you to participate in service projects, retreats, and other activities that will help you deepen your relationship with God and your fellow church members.

WORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES FOR PRE-TEENS
Beginning in the 2nd grade, we offer the opportunity for our Wildwood kids, pre-teens, and students to assist in our worship services as an Acolyte. During our 8:45 am worship service, Acolytes participate by processing in to serve by lighting candles on the communion or altar table. If your child would like to participate in worship as an Acolyte, please register below. For more information, contact Rev. Janet Stilwell.
