Holy Week at Wildwood
Join us at Wildwood for a spiritually enriching Holy Week, a time of reflection, renewal, and reverence. This sacred week begins with Palm Sunday, marking Jesus' triumphant entry into Jerusalem, followed by the deeply moving services of Maundy Thursday and Good Friday, leading us through the path of Jesus' passion, sacrifice, and love. Each service is designed to draw you closer to the heart of God, deepen your faith, and connect with the community in meaningful worship. Experience the profound beauty and solemnity of Holy Week at Wildwood, where we welcome all to come and walk with us on this journey of faith.

Maundy Thursday | Love Feast 6:30pm
Please sign up today to bring a covered dish to share at our Maundy Thursday Love Feast. This is a new experience for Wildwood UMC, but one we hope will help us all find joy in sharing a meal among friends around a table.
Your RSVP helps others plan what they will bring, and helps us make sure we have plenty of seating. This is a great opportunity to double the recipe and invite your neighbors to join you! Click here to RSVP.
The first descriptions of the early church include families, friends, and neighbors gathering at tables to share meals, read scripture, and pray together. Meals shared around a table have a way of deepening the kinship we have with one another. It was around these tables that people converted to Christianity, reconciled relationships with one another, and learned what it meant to model their lives after the teachings and behaviors of Jesus Christ.

Good Friday | Worship Service 6:30pm
On Good Friday, we will gather for a solemn and meditative service, focusing on the suffering, sacrifice, and love of Christ on the cross. Through scripture, music, and moments of silence, we will consider the weight of Jesus’ ultimate act of love for the world, preparing our hearts for the hope that is to come on
