Adopt A Reading Buddy
Reading Bear Buddy is brought to you by Wildwood United Methodist Church and our Hearts and Hugs Bear Ministry.
We hope your family will read 30 minutes a week with your child. At the end of each academic quarter, there will be incentives given out to the students. We hope having your reading bear buddy makes your reading time BEAR-Y special.
Questions, contact Jessica McMullen, Associate Pastor, or your schools librarian.

Big House
A summer mission experience for Junior High and Senior High students, providing an opportunity to serve others and grow in faith. Beginning on Wednesday and concluding with Sunday worship at the host church, students spend their time completing hands-on service projects such as building wheelchair ramps, yard work, painting, organizing, and other community improvement tasks.
This mission trip is about more than just work—it’s a time of fellowship, worship, and learning how to be the hands and feet of Christ. Through serving others, students deepen their faith, build friendships, and make a lasting impact in the communities they serve.
Join us for an unforgettable week of service and spiritual growth! To learn more contact, Eddie Erwin, Director of Student Ministries.

The Littles Mentor Program
This program at Wildwood UMC is a new initiative designed to provide encouragement and support to young students at Ellisor Elementary School. Through this program, caring mentors are matched with students identified by the school’s guidance counselor who may benefit from additional encouragement, guidance, and a positive role model.
Mentors build relationships with their assigned Littles through regular visits, offering support and a listening ear to help them grow and thrive. As the program expands, more students will have the opportunity to be matched with mentors throughout the year.
If you are interested in becoming a mentor and making a meaningful impact in a child’s life, please reach out to Debra Henderer for more information.
