Wildwood has been partnering with the Luther Prison Unit in Navasota, TX since 2022. Volunteer opportunities include teaching weekly classes, mentoring, and caregiving for the inmates in the Chaplaincy Department. In addition, volunteers assist with the inmate band and choir, Sunday worship services, four-day Kairos weekends in April and October of each year, and Saturday Kairos Prayer and Share sessions. Current classes being taught by volunteers are Grief Share, Quest for Authentic Manhood, Winning at Work and Home, Malachi Dads, Life Skills (in English and Spanish), Disciple I-IV (Disciple V will be added in 2027), Disciple I (in Spanish), Anger Management, and Hebrew Basics. The highlight of each year is Christmas Blessing Bag Day on a Saturday in December when volunteers deliver toiletry items to each of the 1400 male inmates.
