Wildwood has been partnering with the Luther Prison Unit in Navasota, Texas since 2023. Volunteer opportunities include teaching weekly classes, mentoring, and caregiving for the inmates in the Chaplaincy Department. In addition, volunteers assist with the inmate band and choir, Sunday worship services, four-day Kairos weekends and Saturday Kairos Prayer and Share sessions. Current classes being taught by volunteers are GriefShare, Quest for Authentic Manhood, Winning at Work and Home, Disciple I-3 (Disciple 4 will be added in 2026) and Hebrew Basics. The highlight of each year is Christmas Blessing Bag Day in December when volunteers deliver toiletry items to each of the 1400 male inmates.
