Wildwood United Methodist Church is dedicated to serving our community through various assistance ministries that address essential needs and foster hope. Our initiatives include:
Disaster Response Team
You never know when a moment of crisis will come and your neighbors will be in need. Wildwood works with the Texas Annual Conference of The United Methodist Church to focus teams to those places in greatest need.
Work here may include transporting equipment and supplies to disaster areas, placing tarps on homes to prevent water damage, working on homes damaged by a disaster, or being a listening ear to those in crisis. If you would like to serve others in this way, please contact Mike Cooley.
Family Promise
A national nonprofit organization whose mission is to serve homeless families with children by uniting faith communities in a cooperative effort to provide shelter, meals, transportation, and compassionate assistance leading to independence.

Ramp Building
Wildwood’s Ramp Building Ministry provides freedom and accessibility to individuals in need by constructing wheelchair ramps for homes in our community. This hands-on mission opportunity allows volunteers to make a direct impact, improving the quality of life for those facing mobility challenges. No special skills are required—just a willing heart and a desire to serve! To learn about the next ramp build or to join a build team, email Steve Ramsey.
